Ovidio Marquez, 25, was arrested Sunday after being stopped and the officer smelled marijuana when he walked up to the vehicle, police said.
The vehicle and its occupants were searched and police seized a half-ounce of pot and 10 small wax folds of heroin which totaled 2.4 grams, police added.
Marquez was charged with possession of a controlled substance and interfering with an officer during the arrest. While at the Wilton Police Department it was determined that Marquez had an active violation of probation warrant out of Bridgeport.
He is being held on $100,000 bond.
